The tournament, returning to Detroit Golf Club for the sixth time, will be held from June 27-30, with the first round teeing off Thursday. Among the top-ranked golfers coming to town are Tom Kim (No. 16), Cameron Young (23), Chris Kirk (No. 33) and Rickie Fowler, ranked No. 50 and the defending Rocket Mortgage Classic champ after last year’s epic victory. Previous winners returning to Detroit include Cam Davis and Nate Lashley.

Several major winners will also be part of the Rocket Mortgage Classic field, including Stewart Cink, Jason Dufner, Zach Johnson, Francesco Molinari, Webb Simpson, Jimmy Walker, and Gary Woodland. Neal Shipley will be making his PGA Tour debut at the tournament after finishing as low amateur at the Masters and the U.S. Open this year. Willie Mack III also earned a spot at the tournament by winning the John Shippen Invitational. The final four spots in the field will be determined through a qualifier on Monday.

Detroit golf fans can expect a diverse and talented field at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, with a mix of top-ranked players, major winners, and up-and-coming talent.
