The 2024 Open will feature 15 LIV Golfers, including big names like Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, and Brooks Koepka. DeChambeau, the reigning US Open champion, is amongst the favorites after a successful run at the Majors this year. The LIV contingent also includes players like Jon Rahm, Henrik Stenson, and Dustin Johnson, who have a strong track record at the Open.

Abraham Ancer, who made his way through Final Qualifying, will be making his sixth consecutive Open appearance, while Dean Burmester secured his spot with a victory on the DP World Tour. Other notable LIV Golfers in the field include Tyrrell Hatton, who has a strong links record, and Sam Horsfield, who qualified via Final Qualifying.

Brooks Koepka, a five-time Major champion, is known for his performances in the big events and will be a player to watch at Royal Troon. Adrian Meronk, who recently finished 2nd in Houston, will be looking to improve his form in the Majors after missing all three cuts this year. Phil Mickelson, a six-time Major champion, will be making his 30th Open appearance and aiming for a strong performance despite recent struggles.

Joaquin Niemann leads the LIV Golf money list this year and will be looking for his breakthrough performance in the Majors. Louis Oosthuizen, a former Open champion, has been in good form on the LIV Golf League and will be making his first Major appearance of the year. Young talent like David Puig, who won the Malaysian Open earlier this year, will be representing Spain at the Olympics after a successful start to his professional career.

Jon Rahm, a multiple Major winner, will be looking to add an Open title to his resume after a strong debut season in LIV Golf. Cameron Smith, the defending Champion Golfer of the Year, will be aiming to replicate his success from the 150th Open with another strong performance at Royal Troon. Henrik Stenson, the 2016 Open champion at Troon, will be looking to create more memorable moments at the iconic venue.

Overall, the 2024 Open will showcase a strong field of LIV Golfers with a mix of experienced champions and emerging talents. The competition promises to be intense as players vie for the prestigious Claret Jug and a chance to etch their names in golf history. With the likes of DeChambeau, Koepka, and Rahm in the mix, the event is sure to provide plenty of excitement and drama for golf fans around the world.
