The 2024 Wyndham Championship is set to kick off at the Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina, with golfers competing for a chance to win. Shane Lowry, a major champion, is looking for his first solo win of the season after winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside teammate Rory McIlroy earlier in the year. Currently, Lowry is ranked 10th in the FedEx Cup standings and will be looking to secure a victory before the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin next week. This week’s tournament presents his final opportunity to enter the winner’s circle in the regular season.

Fans can catch all the action of the Wyndham Championship on Thursday through various platforms. Golf Channel will be airing coverage of the first round from 3-6 p.m. ET, while PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide exclusive streaming coverage, including featured groups, starting at 6:45 a.m. ET. Additionally, Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s TV coverage, allowing viewers to follow the tournament through their preferred streaming services.

For those looking to watch the tournament on TV, Golf Channel will provide live coverage of the first round of the Wyndham Championship on Thursday afternoon. The broadcast will run from 3-6 p.m. ET, giving viewers the opportunity to see their favorite golfers in action as they compete for the title.

In addition to TV coverage, fans can also stream the first round of the Wyndham Championship online through Peacock and ESPN+. Peacock will simulcast Golf Channel’s coverage starting at 3 p.m. ET, while ESPN+ will offer exclusive early coverage and featured group coverage beginning at 6:45 a.m. ET. This allows viewers to catch all the action even if they are unable to watch it live on TV.

The 2024 Wyndham Championship features a strong field of competitors, with tee times for the first round already set. Golfers like Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Jordan Spieth, and Webb Simpson will be in action, vying for the title. With tee times starting early in the morning and running throughout the day, fans will have plenty of opportunities to follow their favorite players as they navigate the course at Sedgefield Country Club.

As the tournament gets underway, all eyes will be on Shane Lowry as he looks to secure his first solo win of the season. With the FedEx Cup Playoffs looming ahead, a victory at the Wyndham Championship would be a crucial stepping stone for Lowry as he looks to make a statement heading into the postseason. Fans can tune in to see if Lowry can rise to the occasion and emerge victorious on Thursday at the Sedgefield Country Club.
