In a triumphant return to form, Tiger Woods secured his 80th PGA Tour win at the 2018 Tour Championship after a five-year victory drought. Woods clinched the title with a final-round 71 at East Lake, marking a significant milestone in his career. Fans and spectators were thrilled to witness the iconic golfer back in top form, and his win was a testimony to his resilience and talent.

Let’s take a closer look at the clubs Tiger Woods had in play during the tournament. Six years ago in Atlanta, Woods used the TaylorMade M3 460 driver with a loft of 9.5 degrees and a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ White 70 TX shaft. His 3-wood and 5-wood were also TaylorMade M3 models with Mitsubishi Diamana D+ White shafts. Woods relied on a set of TaylorMade TW Phase1 Prototype irons (3-PW) with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts for his iron play.

In terms of wedges, Woods trusted the TaylorMade Milled Grind Raw models in 56 and 60 degrees, equipped with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts. For his putting, Woods used the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS putter to navigate the greens with precision and accuracy. Additionally, he preferred Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord grips for a comfortable and secure hold on his clubs. Woods’ ball of choice during the tournament was the Bridgestone Tour B XS, providing him with optimal performance and control on the course.

The WITB Time Machine, presented by 2nd Swing Golf, allows fans to explore the equipment used by professional golfers like Tiger Woods during various tournaments. With over 100,000 new and pre-swung golf clubs available in their six store locations and online, 2nd Swing Golf offers a wide range of options for golf enthusiasts to improve their game. From drivers to putters, golfers can find the perfect equipment to suit their playing style and preferences.

Woods’ victory at the 2018 Tour Championship was met with widespread acclaim and admiration from fellow professionals, fans, and the golfing community. His tenacity and skill on the course were evident throughout the tournament, culminating in a well-deserved win that solidified his status as one of the greatest golfers of all time. As Woods continues to compete on the PGA Tour, fans eagerly anticipate more memorable moments and victories from the legendary golfer.
