Jon Rahm, a former PGA Tour star-turned LIV Golf headliner, has recently been the subject of a lot of rumors regarding his decision to leave the Tour and join LIV. Rahm publicly denounced these rumors as false, putting an end to the speculation that has been swirling around him since he made the switch late last year. Despite his successful PGA Tour career with 11 wins, Rahm decided to join LIV, which took the golf world by surprise due to his bright future in the sport.

Following his departure from the PGA Tour, Rahm struggled to find his footing in LIV events, leading to speculation about whether he regretted his decision to leave the Tour. An anonymous pro quoted by Golf Digest claimed that Rahm deeply regretted his decision and was looking for a way back to the Tour. However, Rahm denied these rumors in an interview with the New York Post, stating that there was zero validity to the claims. He expressed frustration with those outside of LIV Golf trying to paint LIV pros as unhappy with the Saudi-financed circuit.

Rahm attributed his early-season struggles in LIV events to his own game not being in a good place, rather than being uncomfortable with the new tour. He stated that the adjustment was not difficult and placed the blame on himself for not playing his best. Despite the challenges, Rahm expressed excitement for the future and satisfaction with his decision to join LIV. He eventually turned his game around and won his first LIV title at LIV Golf UK in July, as well as finishing in a playoff against Brooks Koepka at LIV Golf Greenbrier.

In conclusion, Jon Rahm’s decision to leave the PGA Tour and join LIV Golf sparked rumors and speculation in the golf community. Despite initial struggles, Rahm denied rumors of regret and expressed confidence in his decision. His performance in LIV events improved over time, culminating in victories and strong finishes at tournaments. As he continues his career with LIV, Rahm remains focused on his game and the future of the league.
