The 2024 Shriners Children’s Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas had a late start on Friday due to a wind delay, causing the cut to be made Saturday afternoon. Tom Kim, the winner of the event in 2022 and 2023, finished his second round at 1-under total and missed the cut at 3-under 139. Kim, who had not played a Tour event since the FedEx St. Jude Championship during the playoffs, will not be participating in next week’s Zozo Championship in Japan.

As the third round gets underway in Sin City, there are some notable names who missed the cut at the Shriners Children’s Open. Charley Hoffman finished 2-under (66-74), Webb Simpson finished 2-under (71-69), Kevin Kisner finished 1-under (71-70), Danny Willett finished 1-under (75-66), Stephan Jaeger finished 4-over (68-78), Keith Mitchell finished 5-over (73-74), and Cam Davis finished 11-over (75-78).

The event saw some surprising results with past champions like Tom Kim missing the cut. Webb Simpson, known for his impressive skills on the course, also failed to make it into the next round. Additionally, Kevin Kisner, Danny Willett, Stephan Jaeger, Keith Mitchell, and Cam Davis all fell short of the cut, showing that even the best players can have an off week.

While some big names may have missed the cut, there are still plenty of top players left in the field competing for the coveted title. With the third round set to begin, fans can expect exciting matchups and thrilling performances from the remaining contenders. As the tournament progresses, the competition is sure to heat up and deliver some unforgettable moments on the course.

The Shriners Children’s Open always showcases top talent and fierce competition, making it a must-watch event for golf fans around the world. The players who have made it past the cut are primed to put on a show in the final rounds, vying for the chance to hoist the trophy and claim victory. With the stakes high and the competition fierce, the tournament promises to be a thrilling spectacle for players and fans alike.

As the event continues, all eyes will be on the remaining players as they battle it out for the top spot on the leaderboard. With each round bringing new challenges and opportunities, the Shriners Children’s Open is set to deliver plenty of excitement and drama until the final putt drops.
