Toulon Golf has announced their latest Small Batch putter, the Palo Alto, which pays tribute to Bob Rosburg, a legendary player and innovator in the game of golf. Rosburg’s career included six PGA Tour wins and a successful post-playing career as a broadcaster for ABC. He was known for his work in designing clubs, particularly mallet putters, which have become popular among modern players. The Palo Alto putter features a multi-material design using 904L Stainless Steel and 7075 Aluminum for maximum forgiveness and performance.
The design of the Palo Alto putter includes a thick 904L face for improved feel and acoustics, along with a toe flow similar to a traditional blade. The putter also features a Spider Web pattern on the face and a slightly crowned shape on the top line for a more centered center of gravity placement. The sole of the putter is adorned with engraved redwood trees and a tribute to Rosburg’s 1959 PGA Championship victory. The putter is finished with a Midnight Blue PVD coating and a custom Toulon Midsize Pistol grip in Dark Blue.
COBRA Golf has introduced the fifth generation of KING TEC irons, including the KING TEC, KING TEC-X, and KING TEC-X ONE LENGTH models. The KING TEC irons are designed for players with a 0-12 handicap, offering a combination of forged feel, distance, and forgiveness. The irons feature a 5-step forged hollow body construction with foam microspheres for improved feel and acoustics. The forged PWRSHELL face insert with Variable Thickness Geometry provides faster ball speeds and longer distance.
The KING TEC-X irons are aimed at 10-20 handicappers seeking premium game improvement irons. They feature a larger profile than the KING TEC with softer foam microspheres for improved feel. The irons also incorporate Cobra’s PWRSHELL H.O.T. Face for increased ball speed and distance. The KING TEC-X ONE LENGTH irons offer the same distance and forgiveness benefits as the standard model but with a one-length design for added consistency and accuracy.
