Nico Echavarria recently won the PGA Tour’s 2024 Zozo Championship with an impressive display of skill and precision with his golf equipment. His set includes a Ping G430 LST driver with a Mitsubishi Diamana BB 73 TX shaft, PXG fairway woods – 0311 Black Ops with Project X HZRDUS Red RDX 70 TX shaft and 0311 XF GEN5 with Project X HZRDUS Smoke Green 80 TX shaft, Srixon and PXG irons, PXG Sugar Daddy III wedges, an Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K #7 putter, and a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.

Echavarria’s driver of choice, the Ping G430 LST, is known for its low spin and forgiveness, providing him with the distance and accuracy he needs off the tee. The fairway woods from PXG offer a versatile option for long shots on the fairway, with different loft angles to suit various distances. His irons from Srixon and PXG provide a mix of distance and control, helping him navigate the course with precision and confidence.

The wedges in Echavarria’s bag, particularly the PXG Sugar Daddy III, offer him the versatility and spin control needed for delicate shots around the green. His putter choice, the Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K #7, is known for its stability and consistency, helping him sink crucial putts under pressure. The Titleist Pro V1x ball gives him the performance and feel he needs for all aspects of his game, from tee to green.

In addition to his clubs, Echavarria pays attention to his grips, using Golf Pride Tour Velvet for his full swing clubs and a SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol Tour grip for his putter. These grips help him maintain a comfortable and consistent hold on his clubs, ensuring a smooth and controlled swing. Echavarria’s success at the Zozo Championship is a testament to the importance of having the right equipment to support his game.
