The PNC Championship is a feel-good tournament comprised of 20 family pairings, providing a relaxing atmosphere during the holiday season. Notable competitors such as Tiger Woods and Nelly Korda participate in this event, making it an exciting watch for fans. Qualifying for the tournament is limited to those who have won a Major or Players Championship, with a $1,085,000 prize purse available for one pairing to take home a $200,000 first prize paycheck. While the monetary reward is enticing, the focus of the PNC Championship is on creating lasting family memories through incredible moments on the course.

Scheduled to take place over two days on December 21st and 22nd, the format of the tournament is a Scramble. Defending champions Bernhard and Jason Langer return to the event, with Bernhard aiming to secure a record sixth PNC Championship title. Tee times have been released, with Team Langer starting their round at 10:57 am ET alongside another former winning pair, Vijay and Qass Singh. The main attraction of Tiger and Charlie Woods begin their journey for a first PNC title alongside Justin and Luke Leonard.

While the PNC Championship is a family-oriented affair, it still offers prize money to the competitors. With a total purse of $1.085 million, the professional on the winning team will earn $200,000. The tournament is open to Major winners, winners of The Players Championship, and partners who are not on the PGA Tour or LPGA Tour, resulting in a strong field of competitors. Notable pairings include Tiger Woods and his son Charlie, defending champions Bernhard and Jason Langer, John Daly and John Daly II, Nelly Korda and her father Petr, Sir Nick Faldo and his son Matthew, and Annika Sorenstam with her son Will McGee.

Team Woods, consisting of Tiger and Charlie Woods, will start their round at 10:44 am on Saturday, December 21, alongside Team Leonard. The second round tee times will be released at a later date. The PNC Championship is known for providing a platform for family bonding and creating unforgettable moments on the golf course. With a rich history of exciting competition, this tournament continues to be a fan favorite during the holiday season.
