The 2024 PNC Championship is set to begin at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, with defending champions Team Langer teeing off in the final group. Five-time champion Bernhard Langer, who has won three times with his son Jason, will be paired with another former winning duo, Vijay and Qass Singh. The Fijian icon and his son triumphed for the first time in 2022, but still have some way to go to tie the record for the most PNC Championship victories. Tiger Woods and his son Charlie will be teeing off in the group ahead of Langer’s team, alongside Team Leonard – Justin and son Luke. The Woods family and the Leonard family have not yet won the championship in Florida, with Tiger and Charlie narrowly missing out in 2021.

John Daly and his son hold the scoring record for the PNC Championship with an impressive 27-under in 2021, which led them to victory. The Daly family will be joined by David Duval and his son Brady at 10:18am on the first tee. The event will feature pairs of Major winners and their family members competing over 36 holes in a scramble format. The team with the lowest overall tally will be awarded the Willie Park Trophy, a red leather belt named in honor of the first father and son combination to win The Open Championship. The tournament promises to be an exciting display of skill and family camaraderie in the world of golf.

Team Trevino and Team Price will lead the 20 squads off at 9:00am in Orlando, Florida, setting the stage for an action-packed weekend. The tournament will feature pairs such as Team O’Meara, Team Faldo, and Team Kuchar, all of whom have vast experience in winning events like the PNC Championship. The excitement is expected to build as the rounds progress, with each team vying for the coveted title and trophy. The format of the competition allows for a unique dynamic between family members, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the event.

The first round tee times for the 2024 PNC Championship have been released, with Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods teeing off at 10:44am on Saturday. They will be accompanied by Team Leonard as they begin their quest for championship glory. Other notable pairings include Team Langer and Team Singh, who will be teeing off at 10:57am. The tournament promises to be a thrilling display of skill, strategy, and teamwork as the teams compete over two days for the ultimate prize. Stay tuned for updates on the tournament and the leaderboard as the action unfolds at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.
