The second ever TGL match saw Los Angeles GC dominating Jupiter Links GC in a 12-1 demolition. New York GC will return next week to avenge their opening loss against Atlanta Drive GC. The match was filled with exciting moments and shot-making displays that captivated fans.

Theegala had a shot of the night, putting his approach to near gimme range to set up an eagle, securing the 12th point of the night for LAGC. Morikawa also played exceptionally well, extending LAGC’s lead to 11-1 with a solid performance on the course. Kisner’s wild shot that struck the flag and Tiger’s struggles with yardages showcased the unpredictable nature of the game.

LAGC moved to double figures with Rose’s impressive drive and Tiger’s bunker troubles. Homa missed a crucial putt at the 12th hole, giving LAGC a significant lead at 9-1. Morikawa continued to excel, extending LAGC’s lead further at 11-1 with his strong play.

In the singles matchup, Tiger struggled early on, but managed to secure points for Jupiter Links GC, stopping the bleeding. Despite Jupiter Links scoring their first points of the tournament, LAGC maintained their dominance at 8-1 after the triples portion of the event.

With impressive birdies and solid play, LAGC continued to extend their lead to 6-1. The Hammer was thrown down at the fourth hole, leading to a missed opportunity for Jupiter Links GC. Kisner’s nightmare shot and Theegala’s excellent performance showcased the highs and lows of the match.

Tiger impressed with a huge putt, tying the fifth hole in pars. LAGC moved to a commanding 5-0 lead through four holes, demonstrating their dominance on the course. Homa and Theegala found trouble on the water, leading to LAGC taking the lead at the second hole.

The TGL format, consisting of triples and singles matches, provided a fast-paced and thrilling environment for the players and fans. With Woods, Kisner, Homa, Rose, Theegala, and Morikawa competing, the stage was set for an exciting night of golf. The course featured unique hole designs that tested the players in every aspect of their game.

Overall, the second TGL match showcased the talent and excitement of the league, with Woods’ Jupiter Links GC facing off against an impressive Los Angeles GC team. Despite some highlights and moments of brilliance from both sides, LAGC ultimately dominated the match with a 12-1 victory. Fans can look forward to more thrilling matchups in the future as the TGL continues to grow and evolve.
