Titleist Releases Limited-Edition Oil Can Finish Vokey Wedges

Titleist is honoring the 25th anniversary of the 200 series Vokey wedges by releasing a limited-edition Oil Can finish for the SM10 wedges. This finish, achieved through a PVD treatment, provides a rich copper tone while minimizing reflectivity and maximizing durability. Bob Vokey emphasizes the importance of a player loving their wedge’s finish for increased confidence during gameplay.

Golfers can customize their limited-edition wedges with all 27 loft and bounce options available in the retail SM10 lineup through custom order. Additionally, there are 12 stock loft and bounce combos for right-handers only. The wedges will come equipped with a Project X wedge shaft and a custom copper-colored Golf Pride Z-Grip Cord grip with BV Wings to complement the finish. Golfers can also choose unique toe engravings for a personalized touch.

The SM10 Oil Can wedges feature the same enhancements as the standard SM10 line, including optimized CG locations based on loft and new TX9 grooves. These grooves are cut narrower and deeper on stronger lofted wedges and wider and shallower on higher lofts. The limited-edition wedges will be available for pre-order on March 18 and for global purchase starting March 27 at $249 per wedge.

This special release caters to golfers looking to add a touch of nostalgia to their game with the timeless copper oil can finish. The Oil Can wedges offer the perfect blend of aesthetic appeal and performance enhancements to help players feel confident and comfortable on the course. With limited quantities available, golfers are encouraged to act fast to secure their own piece of Vokey history.
