The Asian Tour is making its return with the Smart Infinity Philippine Open followed by a new event in India from January 30th to February 2nd. The International Series is a 10-tournament series that brings together big names from the LIV Golf League and the Asian Tour, with notable players like Bryson DeChambeau. DeChambeau, the reigning US Open champion, will be the first men’s Major champion to compete in a golf tournament in India, adding excitement to the event at DLF Golf and Country Club in Delhi. Joining him are team-mates Paul Casey and local favorite Anirban Lahiri, making the field stacked with talent.

The event in India will see 17 LIV Golfers in action, including new signings Frederik Kjettrup and Luis Masaveu. The International Series Rankings offer a LIV Golf League card to the player who finishes on top after the 10 events, with Joaquin Niemann claiming the spot in 2024. Players who were relegated in the previous year, like Eugenio Chacarra, are now pursuing other opportunities such as aiming for a PGA Tour card, highlighting the competitive nature of golf and the pursuit of success on different tours.

The International Series India will feature a field of talented golfers, including Harold Varner III, Mito Pereira, Sebastian Munoz, and other high-profile names. Players who were relegated in 2024 but are still competing include Kalle Samooja, Scott Vincent, and Kieran Vincent along with John Catlin and Ollie Schniederjans who are listed as Reserve Players for the LIV Golf League in 2025. The event promises to showcase a mix of established players and rising stars in the golfing world, providing an exciting competition for fans and players alike.

With a diverse field representing various parts of the world, the International Series India is set to be a competitive and thrilling event. Players like Cameron Tringale, Abraham Ancer, Jazz Janewattananond, and Miguel Tabuena will be showcasing their talents on the course, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation for golf enthusiasts. This opportunity for players to compete against top competitors from different tours adds to the intrigue and excitement of the event, making it a must-watch event for fans of the sport.

The International Series India is not only a platform for established players to showcase their skills but also a stage for emerging talents to make their mark in the golfing world. With up-and-coming players like Manu Gandas, Abhinav Lohan, and Taichi Kho sharing the stage with seasoned professionals, the competition is expected to be fierce and entertaining. The event provides a valuable opportunity for young players to gain experience and exposure on an international stage, setting the stage for future success in their careers.

As the Asian Tour returns with the International Series India, golf fans can look forward to an exciting showcase of talent and competition. With top players from the LIV Golf League and Asian Tour coming together, the event promises to deliver high-quality golf and thrilling drama on the course. Whether it’s watching DeChambeau defend his title or rooting for local favorites like Lahiri, the International Series India is a must-watch event for golf fans around the world.
