In 2025, Titleist released three new hybrids, including the GT3, which offers iron-like performance with added forgiveness compared to previous models. The GT3 hybrid is perfect for confident ball strikers seeking workability, feel, and a slightly higher ball flight. With a 15 percent increase in MOI compared to its predecessor, the GT3 boasts a compact head shape and a dual-weighting system on the sole for adjusting CG placement. The SureFit hosel system allows for customization of loft and lie to promote a desired ball flight.

The GT3 hybrid has undergone refinements to improve forgiveness and confidence at address, making it a more appealing option for players who found previous models lacking in those areas. During testing with a GCQuad launch monitor and 2025 Pro V1x golf balls, the GT3 demonstrated solid performance, though slightly less forgiving and more volatile in misses compared to the GT2. However, on the course, the GT3 proved to be reliable in various lie and shot situations, offering the ability to work the ball easily and produce a towering ball flight when needed.

The GT3 hybrid may lack launch and forgiveness compared to the GT2, but it excels in workability and shot creation, making it an attractive option for elite ball strikers seeking added launch and stability over a long iron. The adjustability of the GT3 provides golfers the option of extra height when required, making it a versatile club for different playing scenarios. Available for purchase from February 21st, the GT3 hybrid, along with the full Titleist GT hybrid range, will retail for £299.

Overall, the Titleist GT3 hybrid offers a unique blend of iron-like performance, forgiveness, and adjustability, making it a standout option for confident ball strikers seeking versatility and shot control on the course. With refinements to improve forgiveness and confidence at address, the GT3 provides a more reliable and smoother feel than previous models, encouraging players to trust their abilities and unleash their full potential with each shot. Elite ball strikers looking to enhance their game with a hybrid club that offers workability, stability, and height should consider adding the GT3 to their bag for an upgrade in performance and playability.
