Li held a two-shot lead heading into the final round of the tournament, and he quickly extended that advantage to four strokes with birdies on the first two holes. However, he faced a challenge from Neergaard-Petersen on the back nine, who caught up to him and then took the lead. The two players were neck and neck as they approached the 18th hole, with Li knowing that a birdie would secure him the victory. Despite landing his approach shot in a bunker, Li managed to sink a 15-foot putt for birdie, clinching the win.

In claiming the title, Li finished the tournament at 16 under par, securing a one-shot victory over Neergaard-Petersen, who shot an impressive 65 with eight birdies and one bogey. England’s Brandon Robinson Thompson finished in third place at 13 under par after shooting a final-round 70. Li’s victory was particularly meaningful to him, as it was his first win since the 2022 BMW International Open, where he also made a crucial putt to secure the title. Reflecting on his win, Li expressed his emotions, stating that he was surprised to find himself in a position to win and was grateful for the opportunity to close out the tournament in style.

Following his triumph, Li reflected on the pressure he felt during the final round, acknowledging that he was stressed but managed to stay composed. His ability to sink the critical birdie putt on the 18th hole demonstrated his mental fortitude and determination to succeed under pressure. Li’s victory marked a significant moment in his career and served as a reminder of his ability to perform at the highest level in competitive situations. The win also ensured that Li would have the opportunity to celebrate and savor his achievement, highlighting the importance of enjoying the success that comes with hard work and perseverance.

Throughout the tournament, Li showcased his skill and resilience on the golf course, overcoming challenges and setbacks to emerge victorious. His consistent play and ability to deliver key shots when needed were instrumental in securing the win. The competition and intensity of the final round only served to highlight Li’s composure under pressure and his ability to rise to the occasion in critical moments. As he savored his victory and reflected on his journey to the winner’s circle, Li expressed gratitude for the support he received and the opportunity to compete against top-level competitors. His win served as a testament to his dedication to the sport and his unwavering commitment to achieving success at the highest level.
