Review of the PXG Wildcat Package Set

PXG is a groundbreaking golf equipment company known for its innovative ideas. One of their latest creations, the Wildcat set, is designed with novice and occasional golfers in mind. The main goal is to make the game easy and enjoyable for players of all levels. Despite the focus on simplicity, PXG has not compromised on technology or quality in the making of this set.
The driver in the Wildcat set features a titanium construction with a thin, high-strength face insert. It boasts a loft of 16 degrees, providing more launch and a better quality of strike. Both the fairway wood and hybrid in the set are lightweight, with ultra-thin faces for added flex and improved ball speeds.
The Wildcat irons are crafted from stainless steel and include PXG’s proprietary XCOR2 polymer core system. The dual cavity design removes mass from the club’s center, enhancing forgiveness on mishits while delivering low spin and high launch performance.
The Black Hawk putter in the set combines a traditional mallet look with modern design features. It is constructed from multi-material components for stability and maximum forgiveness. The putter also offers the option to be fitted with four different hosels for customization.
The Wildcat set includes a driver, 5-fairway wood, 6-hybrid, 7-iron through sand wedge, and a putter. These clubs can also be purchased individually for those looking to slowly build up their set. PXG has paid attention to the overall design and finish of the Wildcat set, ensuring it aligns with their premium range of products.
Performance-wise, the Wildcat set impresses with easy launch abilities and forgiveness. The driver’s deep face and loft provide a unique performance, while the irons offer high levels of forgiveness and ease of launch. The putter stands out for its premium feel and excellent alignment features, making it a standout product in the set.
Overall, the Wildcat set stands out as a uniquely designed and high-performing package set. While it may come with a slightly higher price tag than other package sets, the quality and performance are reflective of its value. The Full Bag Bundle option, which includes all nine clubs, a golf bag, hat, and a dozen balls, is priced at $1499.99. Individual clubs in the set range from $149.99 to $299.99.
