The Maxfli Tour golf balls, including the Tour, Tour X, and Tour S models, offer top-tier performance for PGA players and amateurs alike. Priced at just under $40 a dozen, they provide comparable performance to higher-priced options on the market. PGA professional Ben Griffin has seen success with the Tour X model, ranking within the top 50 players in the world after recent tournaments.

The feel of the Maxfli Tour golf balls varies, with the Tour S being the softest, the Tour being a bit firmer, and the Tour X feeling the firmest. The Tour X model stands out in terms of sound, giving off a powerful and addictive crack when well struck. This is attributed to its four-layer design and new dimple pattern, providing a more penetrating ball flight.

In terms of the long game, the Tour X model excels in providing high ball speed, launch, and spin. The Tour and Tour S models also offer solid performance, with the Tour S having slightly less ball speed but comparable distance due to lower spin. The Tour model falls in between the other two in terms of performance, catering to players looking to reduce spin and peak height.

Around the greens, the Tour X model offers the highest levels of spin, providing excellent control on wedge shots. The Tour S model also delivers adequate greenside spin, as evidenced by a hole-in-one scored during testing. The Tour model, however, lacks the same level of spin on short irons and wedges, making it suitable for players who generate excessive spin.

All three models of Maxfli Tour golf balls boast excellent durability, lasting through a full round of play without significant damage. The aesthetics of the balls feature a clean and modern look, with different color schemes for each model and a unique alignment arrow on the side. Customization options are also available through exclusive dealers Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy.

In conclusion, the Maxfli Tour golf balls offer tour-level performance at a more affordable price point compared to other top-tier options. If you’re looking to save money without sacrificing performance, the Maxfli Tour range is worth considering. Whether you’re a PGA player or a weekend golfer, these balls could complement your game and potentially lead to impressive results on the course.
