If you are a fan of intricate wedge stamping on the PGA Tour, then you are in for a treat. In this article, we will take a closer look at some of the most impressive hammer-and-stamp work we have spotted over the past few weeks. From Patrick Reed’s “Traditional” wedge stamping to Tyler Duncan’s personalized note about head weight on his Vokey SM10 wedge, there is no shortage of creativity and attention to detail in these designs.

The Traditional stamping style, which typically includes the player’s initials in white or black, can be seen on Keith Mitchell’s Mizuno T22 wedge and Cam Smith’s Vokey SM10 in Jet Black. Even Jason Dufner’s Cobra SB wedge bears his initials, JD, showcasing a variation of The Traditional theme. Additionally, Lee Hodges’ wedges feature his initials surrounded by “RTR,” a nod to his support for the University of Alabama football team.

In addition to personalized stamping, players like Phil Mickelson and John Rahm have added unique touches to their wedges. Mickelson’s PM Grind wedge features a bold “64” stamped on the toe, while Rahm’s Callaway Jaws Forged wedge showcases the motto of his LIV Golf squad, Legion XIII. Even John Daly’s Sub 70 wedge pays homage to his alma mater, the University of Arkansas, with a prominently displayed logo.

If you are curious to see more examples of exquisite wedge stamping on the PGA Tour, be sure to check out our tour photo galleries. And next time you open a tin of beluga caviar, remember the artistry and attention to detail that goes into creating these unique and personalized designs. Because just like fine caviar, these wedge stampings are a true delicacy for golf enthusiasts.
