Confirmed Women’s Olympic Golf Field: All Players in World’s Top 10 to Compete in Paris 2024

The women’s field for the 2024 Olympics in Paris has been confirmed, with 60 of the world’s best players from 33 nations set to compete. The qualifying criteria was based on world rankings, with the top 15 players after the Sahalee Country Club Major earning a spot, with no more than four players from any country. The rest of the selections were made based on rankings, with no more than two players per nation if they didn’t already have two or more players in the top 15.

Leading the US team is World No.1 Nelly Korda, who secured her place despite recent form struggles, alongside two-time Major winner Lila Vu and Rose Zhang. South Korea also has a strong team with Jin Young Ko, Hyo Joo Kim, and Amy Yang, who earned her spot with a maiden Major title. Other top players in the field include Australia’s Hannah Green, China’s Ruoning Yin and Xiyu Lin, and France’s Celine Boutier.

Several top-ranked players will represent their countries in Paris, including Charley Hull and Georgia Hall for Great Britain and Ireland, Yuka Saso for Japan, and Brooke Henderson for Canada. The field also features players like Lydia Ko from New Zealand, Maja Stark and Lynn Grant from Sweden, and Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow from Ireland. The diversity of the field showcases the global nature of women’s golf and promises an exciting competition.
