Debuting Golfers to Compete in 2024 British Open

The 152nd Open Championship is set to feature 37 debutants at Royal Troon, marking their first appearance at the prestigious event. Among the 158 golfers in the field, more than three dozen will be competing in the British Open for the first time. Royal Troon will host the event for the 10th time, with the full field teeing off starting on July 18. This year’s championship marks only the third time since 1995 that the field has exceeded 156 participants.
