The DP World Tour’s Qualifying School Final Stage is currently underway in Spain, where 156 players are competing for just 20 cards for next season’s DP World Tour. The tournament is being held at the Lakes and Hills courses at Infinitum, a resort formerly known as Lumine. The field includes well-known names such as former Ryder Cup players Edoardo Molinari, Stephen Gallacher, Oliver Wilson, and Chris Wood, as well as multiple DP World Tour winner Eddie Pepperell, who is looking to regain his playing privileges.

Players will compete in four alternating rounds on the Lakes and Hills courses before the cut, after which the surviving players will battle it out across two final rounds on the Lakes course. Among the field are also three amateurs, including Denmark’s Jacob Skov Olesen, who won this year’s Amateur Championship. The Lakes course, which recently underwent an €800,000 renovation, will be hosting competitive action for the first time, offering new challenges for the players.

Joaquín Mora Bertrán, Deputy General Manager at INFINITUM, expressed excitement about hosting the tournament and highlighted the challenging nature of the courses under tournament conditions. The Lakes course measures over 7,000 yards and will test the players with its new Zoysia grass and renovated bunkers. The Hills course, slightly shorter at 6,944 yards, also presents its own set of challenges for the competitors.

Players like Rafa Cabrera Bello, Marc Warren, and James Morrison will also be vying for one of the coveted spots on next year’s DP World Tour. As the competition heats up, the tournament promises to be a thrilling week of golf as players strive to secure their place on the tour. The event marks the sixth consecutive year that Qualifying School Final Stage is being hosted at Infinitum, showcasing the resort’s ability to provide a challenging and competitive environment for professional golfers.

For fans looking to stay updated on the latest scores and results from the DP World Tour Qualifying School Final Stage, they can visit the official website for more information. The tournament, which began on November 8, will determine which players earn their spot on the prestigious DP World Tour for the upcoming season. With a stacked field and intense competition, the event is sure to showcase some top-notch golf as players fight for their chance to compete at the professional level.
