Titleist has recently launched a new GT line of drivers, focusing on total driver performance rather than just consistency and forgiveness. The GT line includes models such as GT2 (forgiveness, high MOI), GT3 (adjustability), and GT4 (low spin). One of the key features of these drivers is the Seamless Thermoform Crown, which allows for precise mass placement and delivers a unique sound and feel. The Split Mass Construction, Improved aerodynamics, Speed Ring with VFT, and new face graphics are some of the other elements that contribute to the overall performance of the GT drivers.

The GT2 model is designed for high launch and low spin, catering to players who need a higher MOI driver without sacrificing ball speed. On the other hand, the GT3 model offers adjustability and is suitable for players who find the center of the face more often. The GT4 model is a mid-launch, low-spin driver for players with higher spin rates. Titleist has made significant advancements in material, construction, shaping, and design to create the highest-performing driver in the GT line.

Titleist has received positive feedback from players and industry experts regarding the new GT series of drivers. The drivers have been well received by professional golfers on tour, with many players switching to the GT drivers during recent tournaments. The GT2 model has seen about 60% usage among Tour players, followed by GT3 at 40%, and only a few players using GT4. The drivers have been praised for their increased ball speed, tighter dispersions, better feel, and a more muted sound, while maintaining the classic Titleist look and playability.

The pricing for the Titleist GT drivers starts at $649 and will be available at retail on August 23rd. The drivers come with a range of shaft options, including Project X Denali Red, Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Blue, Project X HZRDUS Black 5th Gen, among others. Premium shafts like Graphite Design Tour AD DI, VF, and UB are also available for those looking for higher-end options. The GT drivers have been well-received by players and are expected to be a popular choice among golfers looking for improved performance and total driving performance.

Overall, Titleist’s new GT line of drivers represents a significant leap forward in driver design and engineering. The advancements made in material, construction, shaping, and design have resulted in drivers that are faster, longer, straighter, and more forgiving than previous offerings. The positive feedback from professional golfers, as well as the improved performance and versatility of the GT drivers, make them a compelling option for players looking to enhance their game. With a focus on total driver performance, Titleist has raised the bar once again with the GT series of drivers.
