Wilson has introduced a new, hybrid-alternative club called the Staff Model RB utility, aimed at better players looking for a versatile option between fairway woods and long irons. The club comes in three loft options – 18, 21, and 24 degrees – and is designed with input from Wilson Advisory Staff members, including Padraig Harrington. The club features a thin topline and sleek look preferred by better players, with weight strategically distributed to the toe and sole for improved forgiveness and resistance to twisting.

The RB club is crafted with high-strength C300 maraging steel-face and is hollow-bodied for increased ball speed and aerodynamics. Engineers have included rib structures within the head for better stability and performance on mishits. Wilson highlights that the design also enhances acoustics, providing a soft feel at impact and optimized ball flight. The company’s Global General Manager of Golf and Vice President of Research & Development, Bob Thurman, commented on the positive feedback from professional athletes and elite amateurs during testing, stating that the RB club is perfect for golfers seeking an easy-to-hit distance club.

Priced at $249.99, the Staff Model RB utility is set to be available for retail purchase on July 9. It comes in lofts of 18, 21, and 24 degrees and includes a stock Project X HZRDUS GEN 4 Black shaft and Golf Pride Z Grip. The RB club has received positive reactions from golf enthusiasts, with some expressing excitement and admiration for its features and design. The club is designed to cater to the needs of better players looking for enhanced forgiveness, stability, ball speed, and acoustics in a utility club.

Overall, the Wilson Staff Model RB utility is a promising addition to the golf club market, offering a high-quality, performance-driven option for players looking to fill the gap between fairway woods and long irons. Wilson’s attention to detail in weight distribution, design elements, and material choice has resulted in a club that provides a soft feel at impact, optimized ball flight, and improved forgiveness on mishits. Golfers can expect a sleek, versatile, and easy-to-hit club that delivers on both distance and playability. With its launch set for July 9, the RB utility is sure to attract attention from golfers seeking a better-player-focused alternative to traditional long irons and fairway woods.

In conclusion, Wilson’s Staff Model RB utility is a standout option for golfers looking to improve their game with a versatile and high-performing club. The combination of player-focused design elements, high-strength materials, and innovative technologies makes this club a top choice for those seeking distance, forgiveness, stability, and overall playability. With positive feedback from professional athletes and elite amateurs, the RB utility is poised to make an impact in the golf club market and provide golfers with a premium option for filling the gap in their bag. Be sure to check out the Staff Model RB utility on its release date and experience the benefits of this innovative and player-centric club for yourself.
