The third season of the LIV Golf series is coming to an exciting conclusion this week at the Team Championship in Dallas, Texas. However, there has been a setback with Jon Rahm, the captain of Legion XIII, having to withdraw from the event due to severe flu symptoms. This means that Rahm’s LIV season has come to an end a few days earlier than expected. Despite this unfortunate news, the event will go on with John Catlin stepping in to replace Rahm.

Rahm, who has had a successful season with two wins in the LIV Golf series (United Kingdom and Chicago), will be greatly missed at the Team Championship. The event will feature match-play competition on Saturday followed by a round of stroke play on Sunday. A total of $14 million is at stake for the winning team at the prestigious Maridoe Golf Club, making it a highly anticipated final showdown for the season.

The news of Rahm’s withdrawal was shared on social media by Legion XIII, with well wishes for their captain to recover soon. The absence of Rahm will undoubtedly be felt by his team, but the show must go on as the Team Championship reaches its climax. With Catlin stepping in as his replacement, the competition is expected to be fierce as the teams battle it out for the top prize and bragging rights at the end of the season.

Despite the setback, the excitement and competition are expected to be at an all-time high as the Team Championship unfolds over the weekend. Fans and spectators can expect to see some thrilling match-ups and impressive performances from the top players in the LIV Golf series. The event will showcase the skill and talent of the players as they vie for victory and a share of the lucrative prize money up for grabs.

As the LIV Golf season comes to a close, fans will be eagerly watching to see who will emerge victorious at the Team Championship. With Rahm’s unexpected withdrawal adding a twist to the competition, the stakes are higher than ever for the remaining teams and players. The event promises to be a thrilling finale to what has been an action-packed season of golf on the LIV Golf series, with the top teams and players showcasing their skills and determination on the course.
