L.A.B. Golf, a pioneer in Lie Angle Balance (L.A.B.) technology, has recently introduced the OZ.1 putter collection, featuring two models: OZ.1i with a putter face insert, and OZ.1 with an all-aluminum construction. These putters were developed in collaboration with professional golfer Adam Scott, who shared personal design goals that influenced the half-moon, solid-body construction of the OZ.1.
The OZ.1i and OZ.1 models offer different face constructions to cater to golfer preferences. The OZ.1i features an aluminum body bonded to a stainless steel insert for a firmer feel and faster ball speeds, while the OZ.1 is all-aluminum for a softer feel. Both models share the same size and shape, with the only difference being the face construction.
L.A.B. Golf’s OZ.1i and OZ.1 Custom models offer industry-leading customization options, including a new 0-Degree (Vertical) Shaft Lean option and a 2-Degree Shaft Lean option for compatibility with standard grips. Golfers can personalize their putters with preferred length, lie angle, head weight, color, alignment marking, shaft, shaft lean, and grip, ensuring a tailored fit for each individual player.
In tribute to Adam Scott’s contributions, L.A.B. Golf has launched the OZ.1 Special Edition, featuring a POLY ROO graphic on the sole, celebrating Scott’s Australian heritage. This limited-edition release includes a custom putter shaft, headcover, and packaging adorned with L.A.B. Golf logos to honor Scott’s tour victories.
The OZ.1 Special Edition is now available on the L.A.B. Golf website, with the OZ.1i Custom and OZ.1i Stock models expected to launch in December 2024, followed by the OZ.1 Custom and OZ.1 Stock versions in January 2025. Golf enthusiasts can visit the L.A.B. Golf website to explore the OZ.1 putter collection and learn more about the customization options available.
