The Albatros Course at Le Golf National near Paris is set to host the men’s and women’s golf competitions for the 2024 Olympics. Designed by Hubert Chesneau and Robert von Hagge in 1990, the course underwent renovations in 2015 by European Golf Design. Owned by the French Golf Federation, the Albatros Course has been chosen as the venue for the French Open for the 30th time in October and was also the site of the 2018 Ryder Cup, where the European team defeated the U.S. with a score of 17.5-10.5.

The men’s competition at the 2024 Olympics will take place from August 1-4, while the women’s event will be held from August 7-10. The Albatros Course is set up to play at 7,174 yards with a par of 71 for the men and 6,374 yards with a par of 72 for the women. The 18th hole will play as a par 4 for the men and will be converted to a par 5 for the women. Thanks to yardage books provided by PuttView, a company specializing in detailed yardage books for golf courses worldwide, players and spectators can gain insight into the challenges that await them during the competition in France.

The PuttView yardage book for the Albatros Course showcases the layout of the course, providing detailed information on each hole, including distances, hazards, and strategic tips. This resource allows players to better navigate the course and make informed decisions during their rounds. The Albatros Course is known for its challenging layout, with water hazards, bunkers, and undulating greens testing the skills of even the most experienced golfers.

As the countdown to the 2024 Olympics continues, golf enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the competitions at Le Golf National’s Albatros Course. The course’s rich history, hosting prestigious events like the French Open and Ryder Cup, adds to the excitement surrounding the Olympic tournaments. With the added prestige of being an Olympic venue, the Albatros Course is expected to provide a memorable setting for the world’s best golfers to showcase their talents and compete for gold medals on the international stage.

In conclusion, Le Golf National’s Albatros Course stands as a symbol of excellence in golf, hosting top-tier tournaments and serving as the stage for the 2024 Olympics golf competitions. With its challenging layout, beautiful surroundings, and prestigious history, the course offers a unique and memorable experience for players and spectators alike. As the world’s top golfers prepare to compete at the Albatros Course, all eyes will be on Paris as the excitement and drama of the Olympic golf tournaments unfold against the backdrop of this iconic venue.
