Luke Clanton, a rising star in the golf world, recently revealed his bag setup for the upcoming tournaments. Clanton’s driver of choice is the Titleist TSR2 with an 8-degree loft and B1 SureFit setting. He pairs this driver with a Mitsubishi Kai’li White 70 TX shaft for optimal performance off the tee. Additionally, Clanton opts for a TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver with a 13.5-degree loft and a Project X HZRDUS Black 70 TX shaft as his mini driver of choice.

For his driving iron, Clanton trusts the TaylorMade Stealth UDI (2) with a Fujikura Ventus Black HB 10 TX shaft. Moving on to his irons, Clanton uses a combination of TaylorMade models including the P770 (3), P760 (4-6), and P7MB (7-9). These irons are equipped with Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 130 X shafts to provide him with the perfect blend of feel and forgiveness on the course.

In terms of wedges, Clanton relies on the TaylorMade MG4 series with lofts of 46, 50, 54, and 58 degrees. These wedges are paired with Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 125 X shafts to give him the precision and control he needs around the greens. Clanton’s putter of choice is the TaylorMade Spider GT, a popular model among professional golfers for its stability and alignment features.

Clanton explains his iron setup preferences, stating that he prefers blades with the low irons for more feel around the greens. He particularly enjoys using a 7 iron for “feely shots” from distances like 150 yards. For the upper irons, Clanton values forgiveness, especially when hitting from longer distances like 210 yards. This setup has worked well for him and provides the versatility he needs in different situations on the course.

When it comes to his TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver, Clanton expresses his love for this club, calling it his favorite in the bag. He credits the Mini Driver with saving him numerous times off the tee and the fairway. Clanton first tried out the Mini Driver at the U.S. Am tournament at Cherry Hills and immediately fell in love with its performance. Since then, he has kept it in the bag and touts its versatility for various shots and lies on the course.

Clanton praises the BRNR Mini Driver for its distance, control, and shot-shaping abilities. He feels confident using it off the tee and can hit it far, draw it, cut it, hit it low, or high as needed. The Mini Driver has become an essential part of his game, and he believes it will remain in his bag for the foreseeable future. Clanton’s positive experience with this club highlights the importance of finding the right equipment that suits a golfer’s playing style and preferences.
