Timmy Crawford made an impressive hole-in-one on a par 4 during the Korn Ferry Tour event, The Ascendant at TPC Colorado. After Monday qualifying into the tournament, Crawford hit a driver over the water and onto the green before the ball went in the cup, giving him an ace. The hole measures 365 yards on the scorecard and is played across a large pond, with Saturday’s direct line tee-to-hole measuring 336 yards. This marks the Korn Ferry Tour’s first par-4 ace since 2012 and fifth overall.

Colorado local Steven Johnson described Crawford’s shot as the best golf shot he has ever seen. This week serves as Crawford’s PGA Tour-sanctioned debut, and the hole-in-one will be a memory he carries with him forever. Crawford recently completed his college career at Illinois after spending four years at Loyola-Chicago. This achievement is particularly impressive as there has only been one par-4 ace recorded on the PGA Tour, which was by Andrew Magee in the first round of the 2001 WM Phoenix Open on No. 17 at TPC Scottsdale.

Last year, Davis Shore also made a par-4 ace on the PGA Tour Canada during the Windsor Championship. Shore’s ace came at Ambassador Golf Club’s par-4 15th hole during the second round of the tournament. Crawford’s hole-in-one on a par 4 highlights his exceptional skill and talent as a golfer, especially considering the difficulty of achieving such a feat. This rare accomplishment has garnered attention and praise from golf enthusiasts, further solidifying Crawford’s reputation as a rising star in the golfing world.

The Korn Ferry Tour event at TPC Colorado provided the perfect stage for Timmy Crawford to showcase his skills and make history with his remarkable hole-in-one on a par 4. This achievement adds to the excitement and competitiveness of the tournament, as players strive to perform their best under pressure. Crawford’s success serves as inspiration for aspiring golfers and demonstrates the rewards of dedication and hard work in pursuing a career in professional golf.

The thrill of a hole-in-one on any hole is unmatched in golf, but achieving it on a par 4 elevates the excitement and admiration for the player’s skill and precision. Crawford’s shot has captured the attention of the golf community and spectators, generating buzz and excitement around the tournament. As Crawford continues to compete on the Korn Ferry Tour and beyond, his hole-in-one on a par 4 will be remembered as a memorable moment that showcases his talent and potential in the sport.

The Korn Ferry Tour provides a platform for emerging golfers like Timmy Crawford to showcase their abilities and compete against top talent in the professional golfing world. Crawford’s hole-in-one on a par 4 is a testament to his skill and determination to succeed at the highest level of the sport. As he continues to hone his talents and strive for excellence on the course, Crawford’s remarkable achievement will serve as a source of motivation and inspiration for future generations of golfers looking to make their mark in the sport.
