NCAA Reveals Locations for College Golf National and Regional Championships in 2027 and 2028

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, has been chosen as the host site for the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Championships for an additional two years. The NCAA recently announced the future host site locations for men’s and women’s college golf, with Omni La Costa’s North Course set to host the championships in 2027 and 2028. This comes after the resort hosted nationals for the first time this spring and was initially set to host through 2026 as part of a three-year contract, extending the deal to a total of five years.

Texas men’s coach John Fields has been working to make Omni La Costa the Omaha of college golf, aiming to establish it as a premier destination for collegiate golf championships. In addition to hosting the NCAA Championships, there will be two new men’s regional sites for Division I in 2025 at Atkins Golf Club in Urbana, Illinois, hosted by Illinois, and Auburn University Club in Auburn, Alabama, hosted by Auburn.

The regional sites for Division I in 2027-28 have also been announced. The 2027 Division I Men’s College Golf Regional sites include locations such as TPC Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, Pfau Golf Course in Indiana, Karsten Creek Golf Club in Oklahoma, The Rawls Course in Texas, Gallery Golf Club in Arizona, and Tennessee National in Tennessee. On the other hand, the 2027 Division I Women’s College Golf Regional sites include PGA National Resort in Florida, Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Indiana, Trinity Forest Golf Club in Texas, Stanford Golf Course in California, Old Barnwell in South Carolina, and Vanderbilt Legends Club in Tennessee.

For 2028, the Division I Men’s College Golf Regional sites will include PGA National Resort in Florida, Stanford Golf Course in California, Vanderbilt Legends Club in Tennessee, Championship Course UMN in New Mexico, Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Oklahoma, and Warren Golf Course in Indiana. For the 2028 Division I Women’s College Golf Regional sites, locations will include Mark Bostick Golf Course in Florida, TPC Deere Run in Illinois, Eugene Country Club in Oregon, The University of Texas Golf Club in Texas, Seattle Golf Club in Washington, and Bermuda Run Country Club in North Carolina.
