Grass Clippings Rolling Hills in Tempe, Arizona, is making a special gesture to honor American military veterans on Veterans Day. The 18-hole golf course, known as the first fully lit course in the state, will be offering free golf to veterans from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday. This generous offer is made possible by the 2023 U.S. Open champion, Wyndham Clark, who bought out the course for five hours to show his appreciation for those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

In a statement released by the golf course, Clark expressed his gratitude, stating, “Your service and sacrifice do not go unnoticed, and I am happy to provide this small gesture of thanks alongside the team at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills.” Veterans interested in taking advantage of this offer can call the course to book a tee time and enjoy a round of golf on this special day. The course, which measures 3,428 yards during the day, transforms into an all-par-3 course at night, with a total yardage of 2,712 yards.
