The FM Championship, with a $3.8 million purse, is the largest event on the LPGA’s 2024 schedule outside of the five majors and the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. The first-place prize at TPC Boston was $570,000, taken by Haeran Ryu after a long day, a weather delay, and a playoff against Jin Young Ko. Another benefit of this tournament was a $1,000 stipend for those who missed the cut to assist with expenses. The full prize money payouts for the event are listed, showing the top earners and their scores.

Haeran Ryu secured the top spot with a score of -15 and earnings of $570,000, followed closely by Jin Young Ko with the same score and $346,821 in earnings. Ruixin Liu finished third with a score of -14 and $251,594 in earnings. The rest of the top ten players, including Allisen Corpuz, Jeeno Thitikul, Celine Borge, and others, also earned substantial payouts based on their performance in the championship.

The tournament featured a competitive field of female golfers, with players like Ariya Jutanugarn, Jennifer Kupcho, and Hannah Green among those vying for top spots. The prize money distribution reflected the skill and talent of these athletes, rewarding their hard work and dedication to the sport. The event also provided a platform for up-and-coming players to showcase their abilities and compete against established professionals.

The FM Championship highlighted the growth and popularity of women’s golf, offering significant financial rewards and opportunities for players on the LPGA tour. The level of competition and professionalism displayed by the participants further cemented the tournament’s reputation as a prestigious event in the world of golf. The success of the championship underscored the increasing interest and support for women’s sports, particularly in the realm of professional golf.

Overall, the inaugural FM Championship was a resounding success, drawing attention to the talent and skill of female golfers and showcasing the competitiveness of the LPGA tour. The significant purse and prize money payouts demonstrated the commitment to equity and recognition of women’s sports at the highest levels.
