The PXG Sugar Daddy III wedges are known for their soft feel, precise shaping, and maximum performance. These wedges are fully milled and forged three times using 8620 carbon steel for a soft impact. PXG mills 100 percent of the head, ensuring that each wedge has the exact specifications and wider grooves for extreme spin. With three sole grinds, a high-toe shape, and optional full-face grooves, the Sugar Daddy III wedge line is designed to suit a wide range of golfers.

In terms of looks and feel, the new Sugar Daddy III wedges feature traditional center grooves and a rounded shape, along with a glare-eliminating matte silver finish. The feel of these wedges is extremely soft, offering solid impacts with minimal vibrations. The wedges provide a good feel even on mishits, with shots missed on the toe or inside heel still offering a comfortable experience. Low strikes on the last few grooves may produce an audible click and slightly more vibration.

The performance of the Sugar Daddy III wedges is impressive, with the grooves helping to generate spin and control. Shots from fairway lies will check up hard and may even spin back towards the golfer. Chips and pitch shots will release less than with other wedges, providing better control. The turf interaction with the new S grind is smooth, allowing for easy navigation through softer conditions. The C grind works well for shallow deliveries or firmer conditions.

Off-center shots with the Sugar Daddy III wedges are better than expected for a traditional wedge. Strikes low on the heel may carry plenty of spin and stop on the green, while shots high on the face offer more control than anticipated. Overall, these wedges offer a combination of feel and performance that sets them apart from others on the market. While they may not be cheap, the Sugar Daddy III wedges are worth considering for golfers looking for spin from any lie and control away from the center of the face.

In conclusion, the PXG Sugar Daddy III wedges are a valuable addition to any golfer’s bag, offering a blend of feel, performance, and versatility. The unique precision milled and forged construction, along with the various sole grinds and shapes, make these wedges suitable for a wide range of players. Whether you are looking for spin, control, or a soft feel, the Sugar Daddy III wedges deliver on all fronts. Overall, these wedges have earned a spot in many golfers’ regular rotations due to their exceptional quality and performance.
