The past six months have seen a lack of new releases of blade putters, with zero torque putters and traditional mallets dominating the market. However, Bettinardi has introduced the Antidote SB1 putter, a blade-like zero torque putter that stands out among the larger head designs. While zero torque putters aim to make putting easier by keeping the face square to the path, they may take some time to get used to in terms of looks and performance.

The Bettinardi Antidote SB1 putter features a shaft axis that runs directly through the CG placement, resulting in a center-shafted design with a good amount of onset. Despite this unique look, the precision milling and diamond blast finish give the putter a classy appeal. The ‘T’ alignment aid on the putter makes it easy to set up to the target, while the milled 303 stainless steel face with Bettinardi F.I.T. technology offers a soft feel and sound through impact.

The deep groove pattern on the face of the Bettinardi Antidote SB1 putter reduces vibrations and produces a smooth feel that is expected from a premium milled putter. Testers have noted superb distance control with this putter, particularly from longer distances. Despite its compact design, the Antidote SB1 is surprisingly forgiving on off-center hits, making it a versatile option for golfers of all skill levels.

While some testers have struggled with shorter putts due to the extremely soft feel of the face, overall, the Bettinardi Antidote SB1 putter has received positive feedback for its blend of looks, feel, and performance. The zero-torque blade putter design, combined with precision milling, make it a standout option for players looking for the latest in putter technology. With its stunning aesthetics and impressive performance, the Bettinardi Antidote SB1 is a solid choice for those seeking a top-notch putter.

In conclusion, the Bettinardi Antidote SB1 putter offers a unique blend of technology, craftsmanship, and performance that sets it apart from other putters on the market. Its zero torque design, precision milling, and forgiving nature make it a versatile option for golfers looking to improve their putting game. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, the Bettinardi Antidote SB1 is worth considering for its combination of style, feel, and function. Try it out for yourself and experience the difference that a premium putter can make on the greens.
