Review of the FootJoy Fuel 2025 Golf Shoe

FootJoy has launched the third iteration of their casual, spikeless golf shoe called the Fuel Sport. Following the success of the Quantum golf shoe released last year, the Fuel Sport aims to offer a lightweight and comfortable option for golfers. The Fuel Sport is even lighter than some of the best lightweight golf shoes on the market, helping to reduce foot and leg fatigue during a round of golf. Despite its minimalist feel, the shoe is constructed with premium materials, ensuring durability and longevity.

Visually, the Fuel Sport represents a leap forward compared to its predecessor. The design features subtle branding on the heel and an ombre effect on the blue color, giving it a modern and classy look. The outsole of the shoe is solid and provides better traction in damp conditions compared to the Quantum. On the golf course, the Fuel Sport performed well, with its lightweight build making walking more pleasant and the outsole providing support throughout the swing. Overall, the shoe does everything a golf shoe should do at a satisfactory level.

While the Quantum may still be the preferred choice for some due to its comfort, the Fuel Sport offers a more comprehensive outsole for all-year-round use. Additionally, the lower price point of the Fuel Sport makes it an appealing option for a wide range of golfers in 2025. The lightweight build, comprehensive outsole, and attractive design of the Fuel Sport make it a viable choice for those in the market for a spikeless golf shoe. Overall, the Fuel Sport represents another solid offering from FootJoy in the casual golf shoe market.
