Review of the PowaKaddy RX12 GPS Electric Trolley

PowaKaddy has made a name for itself in the remote electric trolley market with its RX series, particularly the newly revamped RX12 GPS model. The trolley features a 5-inch portrait touchscreen display that offers crystal clear maps and detailed hole mapping. The GPS functionality provides yardages to the front, middle, and back of greens, as well as hazards, scorecard, performance tracking, and shot measurer. The device automatically follows you up the hole, giving you the exact focus area you need depending on the type of shot you are taking.

The new remote on the RX12 is more compact and ergonomic than the previous version, making it easier to use on the course. However, compared to competitors like the Motocaddy M7 GPS and Stewart Golf Vertx Remote, the remote functionality of the RX12 falls short. Despite its shortcomings in remote functionality, the RX12 stands out for its sleek design and advanced GPS capabilities. The trolley folds 20% more compactly than its predecessor, making it easier to transport and store. The diamond-cut alloy wheels and matte black finish give the trolley a high-end, sporty look that sets it apart from competitors. However, for users who prioritize responsive remote power, other models developed by Stewart Golf may be a better fit.

In conclusion, the RX12 GPS by PowaKaddy offers top-of-the-line screen quality and design in the remote electric trolley market. While it may not have the most advanced remote functionality compared to competitors, it excels in GPS capabilities and aesthetics. Whether you prioritize a high-quality screen display or ease of remote use, the RX12 offers a solid combination of both features.
