The Srixon ZXi fairway wood is a versatile club that falls between game improvement and players categories. The club has a pear-shaped design that appeals to mid-handicap players and skilled ball strikers alike. It features a unique Crown Step leading to a panel of carbon fiber on the 3 and 3+ models, while the 5 and 7 wood have a traditional crown. The club has a matte black sole with a stripe of high gloss and tastefully sized branding on the center.

The Srixon ZXi fairway wood has a quiet and understated sound at impact, producing a muted, mid-pitch “snap” that lacks the usual metallic notes of a fairway wood. Perfect strikes are rewarded with a lower pitched sound, and the club feels solid and stable through impact. Despite its moderate size, the ZXi fairway wood offers a comfortable feel and minimal hand sting on mishits.

In terms of performance, the Srixon ZXi fairway wood excels in ball speed retention on center and mishits. It is easy to hit off the turf and elevates thin strikes, launching on a medium trajectory with moderate spin. With the i-Flex Face design and Rebound Frame technology, the club delivers impressive results across various testing areas. The adjustable hosel allows for three degrees of adjustment to loft and lie and six degrees of adjustment to the face angle, offering flexibility in shot shaping and trajectory control.

Overall, the Srixon ZXi fairway wood is a do-it-all club for players with a versatile long game. It may not excel in one specific area like low spin or ease of hitting off the deck, but it performs well across the board. For players looking for a versatile fairway wood that can handle a variety of shots and situations, the ZXi fairway wood is worth considering. Head to your fitter to get a ZXi fairway wood built to your specifications and take your long game to the next level.
