Rock legend Alice Cooper and six-time PGA Tour winner Rocco Mediate have teamed up to host a new golf show on SiriusXM. The show, titled “Rolling the Rock with Alice Cooper and Rocco Mediate,” will focus on the intersection of entertainment and golf. The show is set to debut on July 2 on the SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio channel.

Rocco Mediate gained fame for his playoff duel against Tiger Woods at the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. On the other hand, Alice Cooper discovered golf nearly 50 years ago as part of his journey to recovery from alcohol addiction. He is an avid golfer, claiming to play six times a week, even during his rock tours. His 2007 autobiography is titled “Alice Cooper, Golf Monster,” highlighting his love for the sport.

The dynamic duo of Cooper and Mediate are not only co-hosting the show, but they are also frequent golf partners. Cooper expressed enthusiasm for the show, calling it a perfect fit for him and Mediate. The show is described as an all-improv, anything-goes program where the hosts discuss a variety of topics related to rock and golf in a spontaneous manner.

In addition to their new show, Rocco Mediate also hosts his own show called “The Rocco Hour” on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio. Meanwhile, Alice cooper hosts “Nights with Alice Cooper” on Phoenix rock station KDKB. Both hosts bring a wealth of experience to the table and are likely to provide an entertaining and insightful perspective on golf and rock music.

The collaboration between Cooper and Mediate promises to be a lively and engaging mix of entertainment and golf. With both hosts being accomplished figures in their respective fields, the show is expected to attract a wide audience of fans interested in both golf and rock music. The show’s improv format ensures that each episode will be unique and spontaneous, adding an element of unpredictability to the listening experience.

Listeners can expect lively conversations, anecdotes, and possibly even some musical performances from Alice Cooper himself. The hosts have a long-standing friendship and familiarity with each other, which is likely to translate into a comfortable and entertaining dynamic on air. The show’s title, “Rolling the Rock,” reflects the hosts’ shared passion for both golf and rock music, creating an intriguing blend of topics for discussion.

Overall, “Rolling the Rock with Alice Cooper and Rocco Mediate” promises to be a fun and engaging show for fans of golf, rock music, and entertainment. With two charismatic hosts at the helm, the show is likely to offer a unique and entertaining perspective on the worlds of golf and rock. Listeners can tune in to the show on the SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio channel starting on July 2 to join in on the lively conversation and entertainment.
