The PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is set to feature top golfers Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth, who will be making their first competitive appearances of the season in 2025. Both players have struggled with injuries recently, with Scheffler injuring his hand while making Christmas dinner and Spieth undergoing wrist surgery. Despite these setbacks, both players are confirmed to compete in the tournament starting on January 30th.

Scheffler and Spieth will join a field that includes other top players such as Rory McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyama, and Viktor Hovland. However, World No.2 Xander Schauffele will not be participating in the event due to a right rib injury. Schauffele has been dealing with a soft tissue injury since the end of 2024 and it is unclear when he will return to competition. It is possible that Schauffele may feature in upcoming tournaments such as the WM Phoenix Open and Genesis Invitational.

Wyndham Clark was the winner of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last year, after the tournament was shortened to 54 holes due to weather conditions. This year, fans can expect an exciting competition with top players vying for the title at the iconic Pebble Beach golf course. Both Scheffler and Spieth have been eager to make a comeback after their respective injuries. Scheffler underwent surgery for his hand injury and has confirmed his participation in the upcoming tournament. Spieth, on the other hand, has been recovering from wrist surgery and has expressed that the surgery has helped him address some unwanted habits in his game. Both players are looking forward to showcasing their skills at Pebble Beach and competing against the best in the field.

The absence of Schauffele due to injury adds an element of uncertainty to the tournament, as fans will have to wait to see when the World No.2 will return to competition. Despite this setback, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am promises to be a thrilling event with top players competing for the coveted title. Stay tuned for updates on player performances, tournament highlights, and the latest golf news from the event.
