Stacy Lewis, one of the longest-tenured active players in women’s golf, holds 13 victories and two major championships. She will captain the U.S. Solheim Cup team for the second time this year. As a longtime KPMG ambassador, Lewis played an integral role in elevating the LPGA Championship to the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, now in its 10th edition at Sahalee Country Club. KPMG has made significant contributions to the championship by staging it at top-notch venues, increasing purse sizes, and introducing new technology innovations.

KPMG’s Performance Insights technology platform launched in 2021, providing players with access to shot-level data, advanced analytics, and statistics such as strokes gained. This year, KPMG raised the championship purse to $10.4 million and introduced Champcast, enhancing the fan experience with 3D imagery, shot trails, and individual shot video highlights. Lewis is proud to witness the evolution of women’s golf, where tournaments like the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship are becoming the norm.

Lewis emphasizes the importance of the quality of golf and the talent of players on the LPGA Tour. She acknowledges the increased support from big-name sponsors in recent years, highlighting companies like Ally, Chevron, AIG, and Ford. Women’s golf has come a long way, with major companies recognizing the value of partnering with the LPGA to provide a great experience for their customers and business partners. Lewis believes the current level of talent makes it harder than ever to win on the Tour.

Looking ahead, Lewis is excited about the future of the LPGA and the continued progress of the tour. She notes that with each year, it becomes increasingly challenging to exceed the achievements of the previous year. The LPGA has made significant strides in the past decade, and Lewis is eager to see where the tour goes next. As a veteran player with a deep understanding of the game, Lewis appreciates the dedication and hard work of all the players on the LPGA Tour, recognizing them as the lifeblood of the tour.

As women’s golf continues to grow and evolve, players like Stacy Lewis play a crucial role in shaping the future of the game. Through her work with KPMG and her contributions to the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, Lewis has been instrumental in elevating the status of women’s golf and providing a platform for players to showcase their talent. With her experience and leadership, Lewis is paving the way for the next generation of female golfers and ensuring that the LPGA Tour continues to thrive and inspire players and fans alike.
