The match-play portion of the championship saw some standout players who deserve recognition for their stellar performances.

In light of this, Golfweek has named a 2024 All-NCAA Golf Championship match play team for both men and women, highlighting five players who excelled during match play along with an MVP. The men’s team includes Luke Clanton from Florida State, JM Butler from Auburn, Adam Wallin from Ohio State, Tyler Weaver from Florida State, and MVP Jackson Koivun from Auburn. Koivun, the Haskins Award winner, was particularly crucial in securing Auburn’s victory, with a notable 5-and-4 win in the championship match.

On the women’s side, the All-Match Play team consists of Caroline Canales from UCLA, Megha Ganne from Stanford, Kiara Romero from Oregon, Meghan Royal from UCLA, and MVP Kelly Xu from Stanford. Xu’s flawless performance, going 3-0 in match play including a key win against USC’s Catherine Park, contributed significantly to Stanford’s success.
