The 2025 Masters is eagerly anticipated by golf fans as it is considered the best major of the year by many. Taking place at the prestigious Augusta National Golf Club, this tournament features a somewhat exclusive field of around 90 golfers, compared to most tournaments that have 132 or even 156 golfers. As the calendar year moves into December, the PGA Tour’s website has already gathered the names of those who have qualified for all four of the 2025 majors, including the Masters.

Among the qualified golfers are four amateurs who must maintain their amateur status to compete in the Masters in April. These amateurs are Jose Luis Ballester, Evan Beck, Noah Kent, and Hiroshi Tai. The list of qualified players also includes well-known names such as Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, and defending champion Tiger Woods. With a mix of experienced veterans and up-and-coming talents, the 2025 Masters promises to be a thrilling event.

The 2025 Masters is scheduled to take place from April 10-13. While the field is already filling up with qualified players, there are still opportunities for golfers to earn their way into the tournament. This includes winning a PGA Tour event that awards full FedEx Cup points, being in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking on December 31, 2024, winning the Latin America Amateur Championship, being in the top 50 of the OWGR on March 31, 2025, or receiving a special invitation from the Masters Tournament Committee as an international player.

With a rich tradition and storied past, the Masters is known for its iconic green jacket and challenging course at Augusta National. Fans can expect to see top players from around the world compete for the coveted title of Masters champion and the chance to etch their names into golfing history.
