The Titleist Vokey WedgeWorks A+ Grind lob wedges are a premium offering from Titleist, priced at $225 and featuring True Temper Dynamic Gold S200 shafts and Titleist Universal 360 grips. These wedges are made of cast 8620 carbon steel with a raw finish and are available in 58 and 60-degree options for right-handed golfers only. Designed for golfers who want a moderate-bounce wedge with extra versatility and speed through the turf, the A+ Grind was developed by Titleist’s PGA Tour reps by modifying the sole of the Vokey Design M Grind wedge to make it smoother.

Titleist’s WedgeWorks program brings elite-level clubs designed for PGA Tour, LPGA, and DP World Tour players to recreational golfers. The A+ Grind is the latest offering from WedgeWorks, following the success of previous releases such as the L Grind, Low Bounce K Grind, and the 60-degree A Grind. Initially inspired by Geoff Ogilvy’s request to modify his lob wedge for improved turf interaction, the A+ Grind features a sole designed to maintain speed through the hitting zone while offering extra bounce and sole width for players facing softer conditions.

The A+ Grind wedge has grooves cut to maximize spin, with each groove individually tested and inspected by Titleist. The high and forward center of gravity location of the A+ Grind helps golfers to flight shots down for added distance control and precision. Custom stamping and paintfill options are available through WedgeWorks, allowing golfers to personalize their wedges. The A+ Grind is currently available at Titleist certified retailers and on vokey.com, making it easily accessible to golfers looking to upgrade their short game.

The development of the A+ Grind wedge involved modifying the sole of the M Grind wedge by grinding out the seam, resulting in a club that offers the versatility of the original A Grind with added bounce and sole width. This design is ideal for players who encounter softer conditions, fluffy sand, or have a steeper angle of attack. The A+ Grind has already gained popularity among professional golfers such as Jason Day, Adam Scott, and Davis Riley, showcasing its performance and appeal on the tour.

Overall, the Titleist Vokey WedgeWorks A+ Grind lob wedges are a top-of-the-line option for golfers seeking premium performance and versatility in their wedges. With roots in elite player feedback and development, the A+ Grind offers a unique combination of features designed to enhance a golfer’s short game performance. Whether you’re a recreational player looking to elevate your game or a professional seeking a competitive edge, the A+ Grind wedge is a standout choice that delivers on both style and substance.
