TPC Scottsdale, home of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, has been recognized as one of the “most picturesque” golf courses in the United States. According to research conducted by golf apparel company Galvin Green, the Scottsdale course ranked No. 10 among the most picturesque golf courses in the country. This ranking was based on the number of Instagram-tagged posts that mention the course, with TPC Scottsdale having 24,512 tagged Instagram posts through July 24, 2024. The course is described as having a blend of desert landscape, strategic bunkering, and challenging water hazards that create a visually stunning and demanding test of golfing skill.

When looking for the Golfweek’s Best course lists, TPC Scottsdale does not appear in the top 10. Instead, courses like Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, Illinois, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Chicago Golf Club, Bandon Dunes in Oregon, Riviera Country Club in California, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon, TPC Sawgrass in Florida, and Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia make the cut. These courses are renowned for their challenging layouts, beautiful surroundings, and rich golfing history.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open, held at TPC Scottsdale, is known for being the “greatest show on grass” due to its vibrant atmosphere and record-breaking crowds.
