TaylorMade has recently introduced the latest version of its high-toe peaked Hi-Toe wedges, named Hi-Toe 4. These wedges are designed to provide confidence and maximum spin to players through their larger face and full-face grooves. According to Matt Bovee, the Global Category Director at TaylorMade, the Hi-Toe 4 offers enhanced performance and versatility with the inclusion of Spin Tread Raw face technology and a variety of grinds.
The Hi-Toe 4 wedges feature a larger toe mass pad compared to the previous version, making them more forgiving. Additionally, they have an elevated center of gravity for a penetrating ball flight with maximum spin. The inclusion of Spin Tread technology from the Milled Grind 4 wedges promotes increased friction and spin, as well as displacing moisture in wet conditions. The higher lofts of the Hi-Toe 4 wedges have full-face grooves, allowing for maximum shotmaking creativity and control.
TaylorMade has introduced five different machine-milled All Terrain grinds for the Hi-Toe 4 wedges, each designed to cater to different playing conditions. These grinds include the All Terrain Standard Grind, All Terrain Versatility Grind, All Terrain XTRA Grind, All Terrain C Grind, and All Terrain Wide Grind. Each grind offers unique features and benefits to suit various player preferences and playing styles.
The Hi-Toe 4 wedges are available for pre-order now at a price of $179.99. They come with a stock True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shaft and a Lamkin Crossline 360 Black/Copper grip. Golfers have the option to choose from fully raw, chrome, and black finishes for their Hi-Toe 4 wedges. With the versatility of the grinds, sleek design elements like the raw finish and gold bottom groove, and advanced face technology, the Hi-Toe 4 wedges promise to enhance the performance and confidence of players on the course.
