Tiger Woods is set to make his debut in the TGL (The Golf League) this Tuesday at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The TGL, founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, kicked off last week with Ludvig Aberg’s Bay Golf Club defeating Xander Schauffele’s New York Golf Club. Tiger was present at the debut but did not compete. However, he will be joining the Jupiter Links Golf Club team this week to take on the Los Angeles Golf Club. The format for the match will involve teams competing on a nine-hole simulator course in triples, followed by one-hole singles matches, with live short game shots happening within the stadium.

Tiger’s team at Jupiter Links will include Max Homa and Kevin Kisner, while the Los Angeles Golf Club team will be represented by Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose, and Sahith Theegala. ESPN will provide exclusive TV coverage of Tiger’s first TGL match, starting at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Those looking to stream the match online can do so through ESPN+. The coverage will include shots played on the simulator as well as live shots for the short game within the stadium. This match marks Tiger Woods’ competitive return to the golf course, following his recovery from a serious car accident in 2021.

With Tiger Woods making his debut in the TGL, there is heightened anticipation and excitement surrounding the match. Fans will be eager to see how Tiger performs in this unique format and how his team fares against the competition. The TGL aims to bring a new and innovative approach to golf, with indoor matches on simulator courses adding a different element to the game. Tiger’s involvement in the league adds prestige and star power, attracting a wider audience to the sport.

The TGL match featuring Tiger Woods will be a must-watch event for golf enthusiasts and sports fans alike. With the match being broadcast on ESPN and available for streaming on ESPN+, fans can easily tune in to catch the action. Tiger’s return to competitive golf is a significant moment in the sport, and his participation in the TGL adds an exciting twist to the traditional golf tournament format. As one of the greatest golfers of all time, Tiger Woods brings a level of skill and expertise that is unmatched, making his TGL debut a highly anticipated event. Be sure to mark your calendars and watch as Tiger takes on the challenge in the TGL match at the SoFi Center.
