Two liquor licenses for Donald Trump’s golf courses have not been renewed

Former President Donald Trump’s golf courses in New Jersey are facing challenges as their liquor license renewals have been denied following his conviction on 34 felonies in New York. The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has issued temporary permits to allow the clubs to continue serving alcohol until a hearing on July 19 in Trenton.

The Trump Organization has criticized the hearing as “unwarranted and unjustified.” The two golf clubs in New Jersey whose liquor licenses expired are Trump National Colts Neck and Trump National Bedminster. The license for Trump National Philadelphia, in Pine Hill, New Jersey, was renewed by the municipality there.

The upcoming liquor license hearing is scheduled after Trump’s sentencing in New York on July 11. ABC is investigating New Jersey laws that prohibit convicted criminals “involving moral turpitude” from holding a liquor license in the state.

This development comes after Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in May. The outcome of the upcoming hearing will determine the future of the liquor licenses for the two golf clubs in New Jersey.

Trump National Colts Neck and Trump National Bedminster may face challenges in continuing to serve alcohol if the liquor license renewals are ultimately denied following the hearing in Trenton. The Trump Organization will need to make adjustments to comply with New Jersey law regarding liquor license holders.

It remains to be seen how the situation will unfold for the golf clubs owned by Trump in New Jersey. The outcome of the hearing on July 19 will provide clarity on whether the liquor license renewals will be approved for Trump National Colts Neck and Trump National Bedminster.

The denial of liquor license renewals for Trump’s golf clubs in New Jersey adds to the legal challenges facing the former president following his conviction in New York. The Trump Organization will need to navigate these obstacles to ensure the continued operation of the golf clubs in the state.

As the hearing approaches, all eyes will be on the outcome and its potential impact on Trump’s businesses in New Jersey. The decision on the liquor license renewals will have significant implications for the future of Trump National Colts Neck and Trump National Bedminster. It remains to be seen how this situation will unfold in the coming weeks.
