Luke Clanton, professional golfer, shares his club setup for his game. He uses a Titleist TSR2 driver with a Mitsubishi Kai’li White 70 TX shaft, a TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver with a Project X HZRDUS Black 70 TX shaft, and a TaylorMade Stealth UDI driving iron with a Fujikura Ventus Black HB 10 TX shaft. For his irons, Clanton uses a mix of TaylorMade models – P770, P760, and P7MB – with Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 130 X shafts. His wedges are TaylorMade MG4 with Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 125 X shafts, and his putter is the TaylorMade Spider GT.

Clanton explains his preference for blades with low irons as they provide more feel around the greens. He also likes the forgiveness of cavity-back irons with upper irons for shots from longer distances. He particularly highlights his TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver as his favorite club, stating its versatility off the tee and off the deck. He first used it at the U.S. Am tournament and has kept it in his bag ever since due to its performance. He describes it as one of the best clubs he’s received from TaylorMade and believes it will never leave his bag due to its capabilities.

The TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver has become Clanton’s go-to club for various shots on the course. He praises its ability to hit long drives, shapes, and trajectories, making it a versatile option for his game. Clanton’s confidence in the mini driver is evident as he believes he can replace his driver with it and still perform well. He appreciates the consistency and performance of the club in different conditions, showcasing its reliability in his game. The BRNR Mini Driver’s impact on Clanton’s performance reflects its importance in his bag.

Clanton’s club selection and setup reveal a balance of feel, forgiveness, and performance across different aspects of his game. His choice of clubs reflects his playing style and preferences on the course, emphasizing the importance of having reliable equipment for professional golfers. The combination of high-end equipment with customized shafts highlights Clanton’s commitment to optimizing his performance through his gear. The attention to detail in his club selection showcases his dedication to improving his game and achieving success at the professional level.

In conclusion, Luke Clanton’s club setup represents a strategic approach to equipment selection for professional golf. His preference for specific club types and shaft combinations demonstrates his understanding of how different clubs can impact his performance on the course. The TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver stands out as his favorite club, offering versatility and consistency in various situations.
