2024 Grant Thornton Invitational Preview: Everything you need to know about prize money, TV coverage, field and more

The Grant Thornton Invitational is set to kick off in Naples, Florida at the Tiburon Golf Club, featuring 16 teams made up of the top players from both the PGA Tour and LPGA. Defending champions Jason Day and Lydia Ko will be looking to retain their title in this mixed-team competition, which is now in its second year. The tournament will see a variety of formats including scramble, foursomes, and modified four-ball to test the skills of the players.

The course information for the Grant Thornton Invitational reveals that the Tiburon Golf Club is a par-72 layout measuring 7,382 yards for the men and 6,595 yards for the women, designed by Greg Norman. The purse for this year’s event is $4 million, with the winning team set to evenly split a $1 million prize. Viewers can catch all the action on TV with coverage scheduled for Friday, Dec. 13 from 1-4 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, Saturday, Dec. 14 from 2-3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel and 3-5 p.m. ET on NBC, and Sunday, Dec. 15 from 1-2 p.m. ET on Golf Channel and 2-4 p.m. ET on NBC.

Some of the notable teams participating in the Grant Thornton Invitational include Lydia Ko and Jason Day, Nelly Korda and Tony Finau, Lexi Thompson and Rickie Fowler, and Brooke Henderson and Corey Conners. Other teams to watch out for include Lilia Vu and Luke List, Céline Boutier and Matthieu Pavon, and Rose Zhang and Sahith Theegala, among others. The event promises to showcase some exciting matchups between the top players from both tours.
