Review of the 2024 Wilson Staff Model Blades Irons

Wilson Staff Model Blades irons have classic looks and high-end players’ performance that will make traditionalists fall in love. The 2024 version features a slightly busier look in the bag with a shiny chrome finish, thin top lines, and minimal offset. The feel is extremely soft on centered shots, with rewarding impact sound. The irons have weak lofts, great ball speed on center, and excellent shot control for skilled players.

The 2024 Wilson Staff Model Blades have all the performance elements expected from a true blade. They launch a bit higher and spin more due to weak lofts, with excellent ball speed on center and the ability to hit various shots. The Fluid Feel Hosel and Precise Toe Weight improve stability and reduce mishits off the toe. The stock shaft is the Dynamic Gold Mid 115, providing a higher ball flight.

Compared to the 2024 Staff Model CB irons, the Blades have thinner soles, less forgiveness in the long irons, and a satisfying turf interaction. The CB irons offer more forgiveness in the long irons, better launch angle retention on mishits, and wider soles for insurance against fat shots. Both sets have the same loft specs, allowing for a blended set for different needs.

Whether you are a plus-handicap player, seeking shot-making joys, or indulging in nostalgia, the 2024 Wilson Staff Model Blades are sure to satisfy. With a beautiful look, sensational feel, and excellent performance, these irons are a “grail” set for many golfers. Overall, the Wilson Staff Model Blades offer a classic design, superior feel, and precise shot control, making them a top choice for skilled players looking for a traditional blade iron.
