15 PGA Tour players in danger of not making the FedEx Cup Playoffs

The FedEx Cup Playoffs are a prestigious event in the PGA Tour, where the top 70 golfers compete for the championship. However, with the field size shrinking and becoming more competitive, many well-known golfers are on the outside looking in. As the regular season concludes with the 3M Open and the Wyndham Championship, chances for improvement for those outside the top 70 have grown scarce.

Among the golfers who are not likely to make it to the FedEx Cup Playoffs are Tiger Woods, Kevin Kisner, Francesco Molinari, and Padraig Harrington. These seasoned golfers have struggled to perform consistently on the course, resulting in their low rankings in the FedEx Cup standings. Despite their past successes in the sport, they have found themselves on the sidelines for the upcoming playoffs.

In the tier of golfers with a slim chance of making it to the playoffs are Matt Kuchar, Zach Johnson, Webb Simpson, Daniel Berger, Joel Dahmen, and Rickie Fowler. While these golfers have shown flashes of strong play during the season, they have not been able to string together consistent performances to secure their spots in the playoffs. They will need a strong showing in the remaining events to have a chance at making it to the postseason.

On the bubble are golfers like Nicolai Hojgaard, Keith Mitchell, Lucas Glover, Davis Riley, and Maverick McNealy. These golfers are teetering on the edge of the top 70 cutoff for the playoffs and will need strong finishes in the upcoming tournaments to secure their spots. With the competition heating up, these golfers will have to bring their A-game to make it to the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

In a bonus tier, golfers like Nick Dunlap, Mark Hubbard, Taylor Moore, Jordan Spieth, and Min Woo Lee are in a relatively safer position, but they still need to maintain their performance to secure their spots in the playoffs. With two wins under his belt, Nick Dunlap is in a unique position of missing the playoffs despite his success. Jordan Spieth, a former champion, has had a mixed season and will need strong performances to solidify his spot in the playoffs.

As the FedEx Cup Bubble currently stands, there are several golfers vying for the remaining spots in the playoffs. With the competition fierce and the stakes high, every stroke counts for these golfers as they battle it out in the final events of the regular season. The road to the FedEx Cup Playoffs is paved with challenges, but for these golfers, the opportunity to compete for the championship is a dream worth pursuing.
